This Privacy Policy describes how GIZIA LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you access or use our website at https://shopgizia.com, use our mobile application, interact with our emails or advertisements, communicate with us, or purchase our products and services (collectively, the "Services").

Information You Provide.

We collect information that you provide directly to us. This includes information such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, and order details when you create an account or make a purchase; payment-related information that you submit at checkout, which is processed by our payment processors in accordance with their security practices; communications content and metadata when you contact customer support or engage with chat or messaging features; preferences you set in your account; reviews, ratings, or other content you choose to post; and any other information you elect to provide in forms or surveys. 

Information We Collect Automatically.

When you use the Services, we automatically collect information about your device and interactions. This may include your name, email address, Internet Protocol (IP) address, device identifiers, browser type and setting, pages accessed, duration of visit, approximate location derived from IP address and precise location from your device subject to your settings. We also use cookies to support core site functions, measure engagement, detect fraud and abuse, personalize content, and provide and measure advertising. If you interact with our advertisements, we may receive information about those interactions from advertising partners. 

We may also automatically collect the following categories of personal information enumerated in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and other US states with similar laws including device and personal identifiers, including name, alias, postal address, email address, phone number, account name, IP address, and other similar identifiers and demographic information, including your age and gender. We may also obtain information about you from social media and other sites and platforms if you access our Website or Services through one of those sites.

Information from Other Sources.

We may receive information about you from service providers that support our operations, such as e-commerce hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, fulfillment and shipping, customer support, analytics, and advertising; from social media platforms when you engage with our pages, content, or advertisements; from publicly available sources; and from partners that run promotions or events with us.  We combine this information with information we collect directly and automatically, consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Purposes of Collection.

We use personal information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services; to process and fulfill orders, including payments, discounts, fraud checks, shipping, returns, and customer support; to personalize your experience, including remembering your preferences and tailoring content; to send service communications such as order confirmations, shipping updates, account notices, and changes to our terms; to send marketing communications and display advertisements about our products and services and, where permitted, those of selected partners; to understand the performance of our Services and advertising and to develop new features and offerings; to enforce our terms and policies, protect our rights, prevent and detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and ensure the safety and integrity of our Services; and to comply with and enforce applicable laws, regulations, and legal process.

Cookies and Similar Technologies.

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. Sharing of Your Information.

We may disclose personal information to service providers and processors, including e-commerce hosting and infrastructure, payment processing, fraud prevention, fulfillment and shipping, customer support, analytics, marketing and advertising, and IT and security.  We may disclose personal information to affiliates and subsidiaries for uses consistent with this Privacy Policy.  We may disclose personal information to advertising and analytics partners to measure and improve our campaigns and to show you advertisements that are more likely to be relevant to your interests, which may be considered “sharing” under certain U.S. state laws.  We may disclose personal information to law enforcement, regulators, and others when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required or appropriate to comply with legal obligations, protect our customers or the public, or defend our rights.  In connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, personal information may be disclosed and transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of due diligence or the transaction.  We do not sell personal information for money. We may be deemed to “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in the State Privacy Disclosures section.

International Data Transfers.

We and our service providers process personal information in the United States and other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, and implement supplementary measures where necessary.  You may contact us to obtain a copy of the relevant transfer mechanisms, subject to confidentiality.

Data Retention.

We retain personal information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.  We typically retain account information for as long as your account is active and then for a reasonable period afterward to maintain records and meet legal requirements.  We retain order and transaction records for time periods required by tax, accounting, and audit laws.  We retain marketing contact information until you unsubscribe or until it is no longer useful under applicable laws and industry practices.  We retain support communications and chat transcripts for a period that enables us to investigate issues and improve our services.  We retain analytics and advertising data for periods aligned with our analytics platforms’ configurations and our business needs.  When retention periods expire, we delete or anonymize the information. 

Your Rights Under GDPR.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, and restriction of processing; to data portability in certain circumstances; and to object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests, including profiling related to such interests under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.  To exercise your rights under the GDPR, contact us using the methods in the Contact Us section.  We will respond as required by applicable law.

Canadian Residents.

Personal Information of residents of Canada may be processed and stored in the United States and/or other jurisdictions in which federal and provincial laws comprising protections for Personal Information or Personal Data do not apply.

California Residents and Residents of States with Similar Privacy Laws or Regulations Disclosures to Third Parties.

If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with similar privacy laws, you may have the right to request access to and correction or deletion of personal information, to obtain a portable copy of personal information you provided to us, and to opt out of targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, and certain profiling.  California residents also have rights to know categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, categories of sources, purposes, and categories of disclosures; to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information where applicable; and to be free from discrimination for exercising their rights.  We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you and do not use or disclose it for purposes other than those permitted by law, so the right to limit typically does not apply to our processing. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information enumerated in the CCPA: Identifiers, including name, alias, postal address, email address, phone number, account name, IP address, and other similar identifiers, demographic information, sensitive Iiformation including your age and gender and those categories of personal information set forth in the Information You Provide and Information We Collect Automatically sections of this Privacy Policy.

Right to Know and Delete.

If you are a California resident or resident of a state with similar privacy law provisions, you have the right to delete the personal information we have collected from you in the preceding 12 months. In particular, you have the right to request the following from us: 

The categories of personal information we have collected about you; 

• The categories of sources from which the personal information was collected; 

• The categories of personal information about you we disclosed for a business purpose or sold; 

• The categories of third parties to whom the personal information was disclosed for a business purpose or sold; 

• The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling the personal information; and 

• The specific aspects of personal information we have collected about you.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. In the request, please specify which right you are seeking to exercise and the scope of the request. We will confirm receipt of your request in a timely manner. We may require specific information from you to help us verify your identity and process your request. If we are unable to verify your identity, we may deny your requests to know or delete.

Right to Opt-Out.

You have the right to opt-out of receipt of communications from us. You may submit a request to opt-out please by contacting us. You can designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. However, we will require written proof of the agent’s permission to do so and verify your identity directly. 

Children’s Privacy.

Pursuant to the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), the Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of California residents under 16 years of age without appropriate authorization where applicable law so requires.

Security.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and secure development and testing practices.  No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity under your account.  If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us.

No Error - Free Performance.

We do not guarantee error-free performance of our Services or our privacy controls as set out in this Privacy Policy. We may not always catch an unintended privacy issue, despite our efforts to do so. Accordingly, we welcome your feedback regarding any privacy concerns that you may have, including how we can improve this Privacy Policy. We will take prompt corrective action when we learn of any failure to comply with this Privacy Policy.

Non-Discrimination.

CCPA comprises provisions that explicitly prohibit us from making any adverse decisions about you or your account based upon your exercise of this right (“non-discrimination”). 

Do Not Track and Preference Signals.

We do not respond to browser-based Do Not Track signals. We do honor browser-based or device-based opt-out preference signals for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising where required by applicable law.

Third-Party Links and Features.

The Services may link to or integrate third-party websites, plug-ins, and features.  Your interactions with those third parties are governed by their terms and privacy policies, not this Policy.  We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of those third parties.

Changes to This Policy.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, and other factors.  When we update the Policy, we will change the “Last Updated” date above and, where required by law, we will notify you in advance and seek your consent where necessary.
