CALIFORNIA TRANSPARENCY IN SUPPLY CHAINS ACT DISCLOSURE
CALIFORNIA TRANSPARENCY IN SUPPLY CHAINS ACT STATEMENT
Last updated: February 12, 2026
At GIZIA, we are committed to ethical and responsible business practices. We conduct due diligence to assess risks and to identify, mitigate, and prevent forced labor in our supply chain. We will not knowingly conduct business with any suppliers that use involuntary labor of any kind. Below is a summary of the efforts GIZIA is taking to help eradicate slavery and human trafficking from its supply chain in accordance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657).
🔹 VERIFICATION
We assess new direct suppliers for risks of human trafficking and forced labor as part of our onboarding due diligence. We currently conduct this verification internally and do not use a third party. At this time, we do not perform periodic re-verification of existing suppliers.
🔹 AUDITS
We do not currently conduct supplier audits focused on human trafficking and slavery. If we identify credible risk, we may conduct a targeted review or audit; such reviews are not independent or unannounced unless we state otherwise.
🔹 SUPPLIER CERTIFICATION
We require our direct suppliers to certify that materials incorporated into products supplied to GIZIA comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they are doing business. We obtain this certification during onboarding and may request updates if risk or law changes warrant.
🔹 ACCOUNTABILITY
We maintain internal accountability standards and procedures for employees and contractors regarding our expectations to prevent human trafficking and forced labor in our supply chain. Violations may result in corrective action up to and including termination. For suppliers, failure to meet our standards may result in corrective action plans, suspension, or termination of the relationship.
🔹 TRAINING
Employees and management with direct responsibility for supply chain management (including sourcing, manufacturing, and procurement) receive training on identifying and mitigating risks of human trafficking and forced labor in our supply chains, including red flags, applicable laws, and escalation procedures.
